The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Malaysia Chapter proudly announced the successful launch of its PATA Malaysia Chapter Student Wing, which was held with great enthusiasm on March 22, 2024, at MATIC, Kuala Lumpur.

From 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, the event showcased an exciting convergence of students, educators, and industry leaders, united by the common goal of nurturing the next generation of tourism leaders. The launch of the Student Wing symbolizes a major leap forward in PATA Malaysia’s commitment to the industry's future.

The ceremony was filled with engaging and inspiring talks, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities,

"The PATA Malaysia Chapter Student Wing is set to be the cornerstone for aspiring tourism professionals," stated Datuk Ali, Hon Secretary PATA Malaysia. "It’s more than a membership; it’s an opportunity to shape the fabric of the industry."

In an exciting development, the PATA Malaysia Chapter also announced that students would soon be able to apply for membership through its website, as online registration is expected to be launched shortly. This online platform will facilitate easy access for students across Malaysia to join the PATA community and benefit from its extensive network and resources.

The launch event concluded with a pledge from PATA Malaysia to continue supporting, mentoring, and providing valuable resources to its student members. The new Student Wing is an embodiment of PATA Malaysia’s dedication to the empowerment and professional growth of young talent in the tourism industry.
